We are recruiting for a Projects HSE Manager to support the safe delivery of wind turbine installation and construction projects across Great Britain-from initial tender through to service handover.

Responsibilities and duties


Reporting to the Head of HSE, you will:

  • Support the safe planning and delivery of onshore wind installation projects, ensuring HSE readiness across all project phases.
  • Monitor compliance with CDM Regulations and engage with Principal Contractors to ensure alignment.
  • Manage and implement the HSE Assurance Plan, including audits, inspections, and contractor assessments.
  • Oversee the development of project-specific HSE documentation and identify and mitigate project risks.
  • Act as the focal point for external Health & Safety Officers (HSOs), including induction, alignment, and performance monitoring.
  • Lead or support incident investigations and inspections, ensuring corrective actions are taken.
  • Support project tendering, contract review, and technical working groups to ensure legal HSE compliance.
  • Deliver internal and external HSE training, communications, and campaign support.
  • Maintain HSE reporting, including KPIs, legal registers, and compliance updates


Professional qualifications


We are looking for someone with the following:

  • Extensive HSE experience in the onshore wind or construction sector, supporting multiple projects.
  • NEBOSH Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety (or equivalent).
  • In-depth knowledge and practical application of CDM Regulations.
  • Experience leading incident investigations - TOPSET certification desirable.
  • Internal and external audit experience (qualifications preferred).
  • GWO and RUK Medical certifications and the ability to climb turbines.
  • Willingness to travel across GB and occasionally to Europe
