Hays a delighted to be partnered with a leading multinational law firm to recruit their next Senior Client Relationship Executive. This organisation specialises in the energy, infrastructure, financial services, real estate and technology, science & industry sectors and is ranked among the top 100 law firm worldwide.

Your new role

In your new role you will be responsible for providing structure, process and consistency in client development for a portfolio of clients in the Financial Services sector, interfacing with relevant Business Development activities.

You will:

  • Work with relationship teams to ensure timely development and execution of Relationship Development plans. Ensuring plans are strategically aligned and orientated around the clients' business objectives.
  • Share client and market intelligence with relevant stakeholders with the objective of identifying cross-sector patterns and trends which will have wider client relevance.
  • Proactively seek opportunities to introduce relevant new service and product lines to the relationship teams and facilitate the sharing of that product/service.
  • Contribute to the successful implementation of business development and marketing plans through driving of specific projects and initiatives.
  • Support the generation of new revenue through preparation of bids, credential statements, case studies and other client presentations and materials in-line with the firm's visual identity and brand where necessary.
  • Working closely with our events and wider business development team to coordinate team-on-team events, seminars / webinars and roundtables relating to portfolio clients.
  • Supporting the Partners and other fee-earners to identify and implement external profile-raising opportunities, including our thought-leadership programme/campaigns, article writing and speaking opportunities; always looking for opportunities internally and externally to promote work on products/propositions


What you'll need to succeed

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have Business Development experience in a similar role in a professional services environment.
  • Be degree educated or equivalent
  • Knowledge and/or experience of Financial Services sector is desirable.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Listens, understands and adapts to the needs of clients and colleagues.
  • Commercially astute with a strong track record in growing existing and new business.
  • Great Relationship management skills
  • Relevant marketing qualification (desirable).
