I am working with a well-established and reputable fit-out contractor based in Edinburgh who are looking to add a junior Quantity Surveyor to their commercial team. This is a great opportunity to join a business with low staff turnover, genuine career progression pathways, and a supportive culture.

2026 is shaping up to be a busy year, so it's a great time for an ambitious Quantity Surveyor to join the team and take responsibility for new projects. They've developed an impressive project portfolio within commercial office space, education, leisure, and more, and design and manufacture bespoke joinery work in-house.

As Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for (but not limited to):
- Assisting in the commercial management of fit-out projects.
- Advising and liaising with operational management on contract and commercial matters.
- Supporting cost management, take-offs, valuations, procurement and subcontractor management.
- Reporting on monthly costs, maintaining accurate financial records, and preparing cost forecasts.
- Attending site visits as required

To be considered for this role, you will:
- Be degree qualified in Quantity Surveying.
- Have 1-5 years experience is a Quantity Surveying capacity with a contractor.
