We're seeking an experienced HR professional to join a public sector organisation on an interim basis, supporting their people and wellbeing agenda. This is a hands-on generalist role focused on delivering proactive, compassionate, and values-led HR support across health, safety, wellbeing, and employee relations.

You'll work closely with staff, board members, and external partners to provide early advice, draft policies, manage casework, and support change initiatives. Strong experience in absence management, performance, recruitment, and trauma-informed practice is essential. You'll also contribute to wellbeing frameworks and continuous improvement through data analysis and reporting.

The ideal candidate will be CIPD-qualified (or equivalent), with excellent communication skills, a collaborative approach, and the ability to work flexibly and digitally. Experience in the public or third sector and an understanding of trauma and its impact is highly desirable.

This hybrid role is home-based with occasional travel across the central belt. Must have secure Wi-Fi and a private working space.
