Facilities & Workplace Co-ordinator

Search Consultancy are delighted to be working exclusively with a Professional Services firm based in Edinburgh City Centre to recruit this role on an initial 3 month temporary basis with a view to the role becoming permanent.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing Facilities & Workplace support to the business on a day to day basis, as well as oversight of the Front of House & Workplace teams.

Duties involved in this role will include:
* Oversight, co-ordination & delegation for a number of staff across Front of House, Facilities & Workplace - ensuring cohesion & teamwork across the board to ensure that the client receives the absolute best level of service
* Carrying out office Facilities checks, reporting issues & faults
* Management of office supplies including stationery, toners & paper - ordering & replenishing when required
* Ensuring meeting rooms are set up when required including ensuring catering is delivered & in place, they are cleaned and equipment is set up & working
* Acting as Health & Safety officer for the building, including reporting on H&S issues & carrying out inductions for new starts
* Acting as Fire Marshall including floor walks & drills
* Ensuring that Waste, Energy and Environmental processes are followed at all times
* Various ad hoc office & facilities duties as required/directed

In order to be considered for this role your skills and experience should include:
* Previous experience within a Facilities or Workplace Co-ordination role carrying out duties in line with the above - this experience is ESSENTIAL
* Candidates with leadership experience in this type of role would be at a distinct advantage
* First class communication skills, both written & verbal
* Excellent organisational & time management skills, with the ability to prioritise a very busy workload effectively
* A problem solving mindset with the ability to come up with creative solutions
