Description

  • Broker Development: Identify, engage, and onboard high-potential intermediaries using data to guide your prospecting and prioritisation.
  • Panel Growth: Build strong, lasting relationships with your broker network, driving consistent application volumes and revenue growth.
  • Strategic Sales: Use a data-led approach to refine your sales tactics, test new strategies, and focus your activity where it will make the biggest impact.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams - including underwriting, marketing, and operations - to support your brokers and resolve queries quickly.
  • Market Feedback: Capture and share insights from brokers to help shape product development and identify untapped market opportunities.
  • Professional Representation: Attend industry events and broker meetings, acting as a trusted and knowledgeable representative of our client.
  • Regulatory Integrity: Ensure all activities align with Consumer Duty and regulatory best practice.

Profile

A successful Key Account Manager should have:

  • Demonstrable success in a mortgage business development or account management role, ideally within a lender or intermediary-focused environment.
  • Strong existing broker relationships and an excellent understanding of the UK mortgage market.
  • Highly analytical with the ability to use data to inform your strategy and measure success.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills - comfortable influencing, negotiating, and advising.
  • Proactive, driven, and naturally collaborative.
