One of the best holiday companies in the country, who excels in creating tailor-made, bespoke holidays and honeymoons to more than 90 destinations around the world are expanding their thriving business in the Edinburgh area and are looking for a manager to head a brand-new Luxury store!!

About you:

You will have worked in the travel industry in a senior or management role, you will enjoy dealing with more upmarket and tailored itineraries and the ability to manage a small team to success. Ideally you will be ambitious, proactive and driven with a genuine passion for travel. This company prides itself on the exceptional levels of customer service they offer, building relationships with customers, you should be enthusiastic and have a flair for 'thinking outside the box' . A dynamic and inspiring individual is exactly what they are looking for!

Responsibilities:

  • Accountable for meeting and exceeding sales targets across Tour operator, Specialist and third party retailed products to exceed P&L targets
  • Set clear team goals and KPIs
  • Drive store productivity to optimum level
  • Ensure that the highest level of customer service is always offered
  • Monitor team performance, report on required KPI's and effectively address underperformance
  • Identify training needs within the team and work with the training team to ensure that each team member has a personal development plan to develop their soft skills, sales skills and product knowledge in accordance with business and store needs
  • Build a high performing, commercially orientated and customer focused team; pro-actively managing performance and addressing trading issues
