We are currently recruiting for a Customer Liaison Officer to join a well-established contractor supporting a large social housing contract in Birmingham. This role plays a key part in delivering planned works and capital projects, ensuring tenants are fully supported and kept informed throughout the process.
Customer Liaison Officer
Location: South Birmingham / Longbridge office
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm
Contract: 12-week temporary contract (Possibility for extension)
Rate: 17-19 per hour (via umbrella)

Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as the main point of contact for residents during works, providing clear and timely updates.
  • Coordinate access and appointments to enable smooth delivery of works.
  • Handle enquiries and concerns professionally and sensitively.
  • Build relationships within the community and support resident engagement.
  • Maintain accurate records of communications, appointments, and any issues raised.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a customer-facing liaison or housing role
  • Ability to remain calm and empathetic in sensitive situations
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Social housing experience (desirable)
