Sonic Summary

The position is for a Quality Engineer focused on User Experience and Accessibility, based in either Edinburgh or Macclesfield, with a hybrid work model.
Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in accessibility consultancy roles.
The role requires strong communication skills and the ability to analyze accessibility reports while providing actionable recommendations.
Proficiency in ARIA, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and experience with various assistive technologies and accessibility testing tools is essential.
This is a 12-month contract position inside IR35, and it is offered on an umbrella-only basis.

Required Skills:

5+ years in accessibility consultancy roles
Strong communication skills
Experience analysing accessibility reports and providing recommendations
Delivery of accessible cross-platform digital solutions
Deep understanding of WCAG standards Proficiency in ARIA, HTML, CSS, JavaScript Experience with assistive technologies (NVDA, Talkback, Voiceover, ZoomText, JAWS)
Use of accessibility testing tools (Axe, CCA, Site improve)
Strong problem-solving and team guidance skills
