The role & about the client:

ITS Building People are recruiting on behalf of a reputable contractor for an experienced Fire & Security Engineer to join their team working across various commercial and residential sites in London.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and servicing of a wide range of fire and security systems, ensuring high standards of quality and compliance across all sites.

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Installation, servicing, and maintenance of fire alarm systems, intruder alarms, CCTV, and access control systems

  • Fault finding, testing, and commissioning systems to the relevant standards

  • Working independently and efficiently across various client sites

  • Maintaining accurate documentation and reporting on job progress

  • Providing excellent customer service and representing the business in a professional manner

The ideal candidate will have/be:

  • Proven experience in the fire and security industry

  • A full UK driving licence

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to solve technical issues independently

  • Self-motivated and well-organised, with the ability to manage multiple tasks
