Reeson Education is working with a popular and inclusive primary school in Enfield seeking a nurturing and resilient SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with a range of additional needs. This SEN Teaching Assistant role will involve working closely with children with ASD, ADHD, and speech and language difficulties, helping them thrive within the classroom setting.

The Role - SEN Teaching Assistant:

  • Immediate start for a full-time SEN Teaching Assistant

  • Working with pupils 1:1 and in small groups across KS1 and KS2

  • Providing tailored support based on individual learning plans

  • Collaborating with class teachers, SENCO, and external specialists

  • Helping pupils build confidence, independence, and academic progress



Person Specification for SEN Teaching Assistant:

  • Prior experience as an SEN Teaching Assistant or similar role

  • Experience supporting children with ASD, SEMH, or learning delays

  • Proactive, empathetic and adaptable working style

  • Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
