Prism 7 Resourcing is now looking for Pallet Repair and Sorting Operative for one of our client based in Edmonton:

Requirements: 

Pallet Sorting Operative:

  • Manual Handling: Responsible for lifting and stacking both Standard and Euro-sized pallets safely and efficiently.
  • Grading & Inspection: Assess pallets by type, grade and if they require repair.
  • Productivity Driven: Consistently meet or exceed targets, sorting over 1000 pallets per shift.
  • Health & Safety Compliance: Follow all health and safety procedures, maintaining a hazard-free work environment.
  • Outdoor Work: Perform duties in all weather conditions.

Pallet Repair Operative:

  • Manual Handling: Lifting pallets from stacks to benches for repair and returning them post-repair, ensuring efficient and safe movement.
  • Damage Assessment & Repair: Identify broken or damaged components and carry out necessary repairs or replacements to company standards.
  • Tool Use: Operate power tools (e.g., reciprocating saws, compressed air nail guns) and hand tools (e.g., hammers) safely and effectively.
  • Quality Standards: Repair pallets in line with company guidelines to maintain the quality output.
  • Target Driven: Maintain productivity by consistently repairing 200+ pallets per shift.
  • Health & Safety Compliance: Follow all health and safety procedures, maintaining a hazard-free work environment.

Full training and induction provided along with PPE and all necessary tools.


Shift Pattern: 

Monday - Friday 

7:00 am - 5:00 pm

Pay:

£12.25
