Salary: £27.80 per hour, plus 10% SMART objectives-based bonus paid quarterly
Hours: Full-time – 7am to 7pm, 3–4 days a week including alternate weekends

About the Home:

This care home is located near Mansfield. Though purpose-built, the home is designed to feel welcoming and homely with garden areas that align with the provider’s ethos. It offers personal, nursing, and dementia care to residents.

Responsibilities:

  • Work collaboratively with the Home Manager and clinical team to ensure the highest standards of nursing care
  • Ensure positive clinical outcomes, including prevention of pressure sores and effective medication management
  • Lead and support care staff in delivering personal care and daily living support
  • Administer medication, manage nursing care plans, and ensure accurate daily records are maintained
  • Assist in staff supervision, team action plans, and regular evaluation of care plans
  • Ensure all care practices promote dignity, independence, and choice for residents

Essential Requirements:

  • Registered Nurse (RGN, RMN, or RNLD)
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a residential or nursing home setting (including at least 1 year working with individuals with dementia)
  • Proven experience conducting person-centred one-to-ones
  • Must live within 30 minutes of the home

Preferred Experience:

  • At least 2 years in a similar deputy or clinical lead role
  • Experience working with dementia care
  • Current RGN qualification
  • Full driving licence
