Internal Freight Sales Executive
Location: Egham (On-site)
Salary: Up to 40,000 + Commission
Hours: Monday - Friday 8:30am - 17:00pm

Are you a driven freight sales professional looking for your next challenge? We're working with a leading global logistics provider who are seeking an Internal Freight Sales Executive to join their team based in Egham. This is an exciting opportunity to sell across all modes of freight - Air, Sea, and European Road - while developing your career within a dynamic, supportive business.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and develop new business opportunities in line with GP targets.

  • Ensure all leads generated by the pre-sales team are contacted promptly (same day) and status updates are logged.

  • Record all calls and activity accurately within the CRM, including detailed call notes.

  • Build a strong pipeline through Salesforce, ensuring GP forecasts are accurate.

  • Follow up on all quotes provided to clients, converting them into confirmed business.

  • Manage and nurture existing SME accounts, ensuring service levels are consistently high.

  • Work closely with operations and commercial teams to source and complete daily quotations, maximising profitability.

  • Arrange external client meetings where appropriate to support business growth.

  • Regularly review accounts to ensure competitiveness, profitability, and alignment with market trends.

  • Produce daily, weekly, and monthly sales activity reports through Salesforce.

  • Maintain strong internal relationships with senior management, operations, and sales teams to support business objectives.



What We're Looking For:

  • Proven sales experience within freight forwarding/logistics.

  • Strong knowledge across air, sea, and road freight.

  • Self-motivated with the ability to develop new business and manage existing accounts.

  • Confident communicator with excellent relationship-building skills.

  • Commercially astute with a strong understanding of finance, GP, and margin.

  • Experience using CRM systems (Salesforce desirable).

  • Target-driven, with a proactive approach to achieving and exceeding KPIs.
