The Opportunity
Looking for a hands-on and experienced Senior Procurement Manager to lead on the sourcing, contracting, and vendor management of technology deployment and application management services - across ERP, CRM, HR and other enterprise systems. This is not a licensing/SaaS negotiation role, but rather focused on procuring and managing services to implement, integrate, and support software platforms, including Workday, Microsoft, Oracle, Salesforce, ServiceNow, SAP, and others.
You will be working closely with senior IT and transformation stakeholders across the business to ensure the successful onboarding and performance management of global delivery partners such as IBM, Cognizant, Accenture, TCS, Infosys, Wipro, and Capgemini.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end procurement activities for application deployment and technology services, including RFPs, negotiations, contracting and supplier onboarding.
- Manage relationships with global IT service providers delivering systems integration, support, and managed services for platforms like Workday, SAP, Salesforce, ServiceNow, and Microsoft.
- Partner with internal stakeholders in IT, transformation, finance, and operations to shape service requirements, define scope and align sourcing strategy.
- Own supplier performance management processes - including SLAs, KPIs, risk management and continuous improvement frameworks.
- Ensure contracts reflect appropriate service definitions, deliverables, and risk-sharing mechanisms for long-term application support services.
- Monitor the market to identify innovation opportunities and cost optimisation across the IT services supply base.
- Support procurement process improvements and help scale procurement capability across a growing team.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Strong procurement experience in technology application deployment and/or application management services (ERP, CRM, HR systems, etc.).
- Comfortable working with or managing suppliers such as IBM, Cognizant, Infosys, Capgemini, Accenture, Deloitte, or similar.
- Understanding of the commercial models, SLAs, KPIs and risk profiles associated with global IT services (distinct from contingent labour or general consultancy).
- Proven ability to work closely with senior stakeholders, offering procurement expertise and strategic insight that delivers measurable value.
- Able to operate independently and effectively in a complex, fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
