My client is seeking an Estimator to play a key role in delivering high-quality, innovative, and commercially successful projects. Working closely with the Managing Director and operations team, you'll help ensure every project runs smoothly, on budget, and to the highest standards-all within a supportive and collaborative environment.
Your Role
You'll lead the estimating process across a diverse range of construction projects. Key responsibilities will include:
Preparing and reviewing detailed cost estimates
Liaising with trade partners, suppliers, and the project team
Producing accurate estimates and purchase orders
Managing vendor bid pricing and carrying out cost analysis
Reviewing drawings and specifications to fully understand project scope
Building and maintaining strong supplier and subcontractor relationships
Ensuring estimates, budgets, and programmes are delivered on time
What We're Looking For
We're seeking someone with a strong background in construction estimating or quantity surveying, who thrives in a fast-paced environment and wants to make a real impact.
The ideal candidate will have:
Proven experience in estimating or quantity surveying
Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
A detail-focused and analytical approach
Confidence in managing budgets and meeting deadlines
Solid IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
A proactive attitude and the ability to work independently and as part of a team
