Prospero Teaching is recruiting a passionate and qualified Science Teacher for a Good-rated (Ofsted) secondary school in Southampton, Hampshire.

Role Details:
- Position: Science Teacher
- Location: Southampton, Hampshire
- Start Date: 3rd September 2025
- Duration: 1-Year Fixed Term (with potential to extend or move to a permanent role)
- Contract Type: Full-Time
- Working Hours: 8:30 AM 4:00 PM, including parents' evenings
- Pay: From 162.31 per day
Candidate Requirements:
- Qualifications: QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of Science teaching experience in the UK
- Subject Specialism: Biology, Chemistry, Physics or General Science
- Training: Up-to-date Safeguarding training completed within the last 12 months
Compliance:
- Right to work in the UK
- Enhanced DBS certificate (on the update service or willing to apply)
- Two child-related professional references covering the last 2 years
