Manpower are currently recruiting a Class 1 HIAB driver for our client based in Ellesmere port. Monday-Friday 48 hours per week paying a starting salary of 40K depending on experience.

Responsibilities

  • Safe operation of a Hiab vehicle to transport LPG vessels and other equipment to and from customer sites to support tasks such as installation, uplift and exchange programmes.
  • Using the mounted crane to safely load and unload vessels and equipment, ensuring safe and proper handling procedures are always followed.
  • Provision of technical advice to sales representatives and customers on vessel positioning and Hiab restrictions.
  • Conduct daily vehicle and crane safety checks, reporting any faults or maintenance requirements in accordance with company policy.
  • Strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations, including hazardous material handling, PPE requirements, and site-specific safety protocols.
  • Accurately complete delivery notes, logbooks, timesheets, and any other required documentation.
  • Represent the company professionally when interacting with customers, handling queries or minor issues where appropriate.
  • Familiarity with and able to implement emergency response procedures in an incident.
  • Maintenance of stock levels as well as supporting the Engineering function with manual handling or basic maintenance tasks during downtimes.

ADR & HIAB licence is essential for the role.
