The Results People currently recruiting for a Warehouse Planner for our well-known client in Ellesmere Port.

You will be assisting in the forecasting/planning for this site. This role would be ideal for someone who is proficient in Excel, numbers focused and who wants a career within supply chain. You will be an integral part of the warehouse team. 

Shift Pattern: Monday - Friday from 8am - 4pm

Pay rate: £13.40

The key accountabilities of the role will include but not limited to:

  • Monitor, maintain and ensure accurate reporting of KPI data.
  • Working with payroll team to resolve discrepancies.
  • Tracking site’s performance, analyse and report data.
  • Plan site’s labour vs volume requirements and deployment within the DC.
  • Liaison with the operational team to develop and deliver plans for recruitment.
  • Monitoring planned vs. actual volumes, analysing variance and cost implications.
  • Identification of recurring issues that raise cost and reduce performance.
  • Management of shift patterns and rotas and other planning tools, displaying cost-effective planning
  • Working with external agency providers, forward planning labour requirements

The key skills and experience required are:

  • Microsoft Excel knowledge is essential.
  • Strong communication skills at all levels, verbal and written.
  • Highly organised, results driven and commercially minded.
  • Able to work accurately, managing tight timescales & demonstrating attention to detail.
  • Warehouse Management System use highly desired. Training on our system can be provided.
