Tradewind Recruitment is looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Cover Supervisor to join a supportive secondary school in Ellesmere Port. This role offers a unique opportunity to provide general classroom cover across all subjects, with a particular focus on supporting the PE department.
This long term position is to start as soon as possible and will run up until July 2025. The school are looking for someone with previous experience managing a classroom and also a sport background. This role is full time and the schools working hours are 8:30am to 3:30pm.
The Role:- Supervise students in the absence of teaching staff, delivering pre-prepared lesson plans
- Maintain a positive learning environment and manage classroom behaviour effectively
- Assist with PE lessons, including setting up equipment, supporting practical sessions, and encouraging student participation
- Support whole-school activities and contribute to a positive school
To be considered for this role, we will need -
- Proof of Right to Work, this could be your Passport or Birth Certificate.
- A CV that covers 10 years of education or employment.
- A fully enhanced DBS certificate or be willing to process one with us. (We will refund the cost of the DBS)
