Your new company
I am seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Purchasing Administrator to join my client's team on a temporary basis for approx. 3 months.

Your new role
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing raw material purchases and ensuring timely delivery to support our production needs.Responsibilities will include:

  • Identify and procure raw materials based on production schedules and planning reports.
  • Place orders with approved suppliers.
  • Issue purchase contracts and maintain accurate records in stock system.
  • Coordinate with suppliers, shipping agents, and import agents to ensure smooth delivery processes.
  • Monitor deliveries and communicate any changes to the production team.
  • Ensure all necessary documentation is received and processed for incoming materials.
  • Process purchase requisitions for non-raw material items.
  • Compile import and export records for HM Revenue & Customs.
  • Support the administration team with sales contracts and general administrative tasks.


What you'll need to succeed
To be considered for this role, you will have previous experience in a similar role and be available to start immediately. You will work well within a team and be able to demonstrate a good working knowledge of Excel whilst being confident in the manipulation of data and analysing of reports and spreadsheets when required.

What you'll get in return
This is a temp role expected to last 3 months, with the potential for extension / permanent at the end of contract should workload allow. Flexible start time, ideally 8-4.30 or 8.30-5. Competitive hourly rate depending on experience.
