Recruit4staff is seeking a Fabricator for a cold storage solutions manufacturer in Ellesmere Port.
The role involves refurbishing and converting shipping containers into cold storage units, with key tasks including MIG welding and mechanical assembly.
The position offers a pay range of £13 - £14 per hour, with overtime available at enhanced rates.
Candidates should have experience in fabrication, using workshop machinery, and reading engineering drawings, with a City & Guilds qualification in Fabrication or Engineering preferred.
The job is temp to perm, with working hours from Monday to Friday, 8am to 4:30pm, totaling 39 hours per week.

Recruit4staff are representing a well-established cold storage solutions manufacturer in their search for a Fabricator to work in Ellesmere Port.

Job Role: The Fabricator will be involved in the refurbishment and conversion of shipping containers into cold storage units. Daily tasks include fabricating units and steel components to customer specifications using tools such as press brake, bandsaw, and guillotine. MIG welding and mechanical assembly are key parts of the role. Additional duties include finishing tasks such as sealing and painting, along with quality inspections of completed work.

Job Details:

Pay: £13 - £14 per hour
Hours of Work: Monday - Friday, 8am - 4:30pm (39 hours per week)
Duration: Temp to Perm
Overtime: Overtime is paid at x1.5 of basic hours

Essential Skills & Experience:

Fabrication of steel products
Using workshop machinery
Experience using hand & power tools

City & Guilds in Fabrication or Engineering discipline or equivalent

Desired Qualifications:

FLT Licence
