A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced HGV Technician to join a leading team in Ellistown. You will be responsible for maintaining and repairing tankers to the highest standards, ensuring vehicles are serviced efficiently while adhering to all safety and compliance guidelines.

Key Responsibilities of an HGV Technician

• Carry out inspections, servicing, and repairs on  tankers.
• Diagnose and address mechanical issues with a proactive approach.
• Complete compliance paperwork accurately and on time.
• Maintain a high level of customer service and professionalism.
• Follow health & safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
• Engage in ongoing training to develop technical skills.

Skills and Qualifications for an HGV Technician
Essential

• Experience working on tankers or HGVs.
• Basic computer skills and good record-keeping ability.
• Ability to manage workloads and meet deadlines.
• Clear communication skills and a can-do attitude.

Desirable

• Background in hydraulics, pneumatics, or similar heavy vehicle types.
• City & Guilds Level 1, 2 & 3 or equivalent qualifications.
