REED Engineering are delighted to have partnered with a leading service company to the Oil & Gas industry who is looking to add an Electromechanical Technician to their team on a permanent basis.

Based in the Ellon area, you will be joining a steady workforce who are in the midst of a huge 2025 and beyond.

Although a fairly set requirement, due to the variety of work this client undertakes, we can consider candidates from a number of backgrounds. If you have worked on any of the following you will be at a distinct advantage:

  • Rotating equipment / machinery
  • Motors / Ex motors
  • Submersible pumps / ESPs
  • Traction motors

This is not an exhaustive list. If you are a candidate with a solid mechanical background in disassembly and re-build then we would still be keen to discuss this opportunity with you.

To be suited for this role, we are looking for:

  • Recognised apprenticeship/qualification in a Mechanical discipline
  • Direct experience of working with some of the above listed equipment (Desirable)
  • Offshore certification (desirable)

As well as an excellent hourly rate, you can also enjoy enhanced rates for overtime, overnight stays, time spent working away and offshore.
