Monday–Friday, 8:00am–6:00pm | 1 in 3 Saturdays

Interaction Technical is proud to partner with a well-established and growing automotive business based in Bedford. With a strong reputation for quality and customer service, our client is expanding their team and seeking a qualified MOT Tester to support their busy workshop operations.

As an MOT Tester, you will play a vital role in ensuring vehicles meet safety and compliance standards while delivering a first-class customer experience. You’ll be a key member of the Aftersales Team, contributing to the overall success and efficiency of the workshop.

• Conduct MOT tests in line with DVSA regulations.
• Ensure the safety and security of customer vehicles while in your care.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic service records.
• Collaborate with the wider workshop team to uphold high standards of service and presentation.
• Adhere to all health, safety, and compliance guidelines.
• Support diagnostic and repair work where qualified, especially in electrical systems (if applicable).

• Valid MOT Testing Licence (essential).
• Additional qualifications in vehicle diagnostics or electrical systems (advantageous).
• Previous experience in a similar role within the automotive industry.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
• Full UK driving licence.

• Competitive base salary with OTE up to £44,000 (or £47,000 with electrical specialisms).
