CNC Sliding head Turner - full time hours over 4 day week (every friday off) + relocating expenses!
Opportunity for a skilled CNC Turner programming, setting, and operating Star sliding head lathes making complex, high-precision components for the aerospace automotive and medical industries.
Your Responsibilities:
- Program, set, and operate sliding head machinery.
- Perform rapid changeovers and set up for short production runs.
- Develop initial prototypes to confirm adherence to specifications.
- Preparing machinery for lights out working.
- Maintain precision within tight tolerances, ensuring that finished products comply with quality standards.
- Understand and interpret technical drawings to manage quality control throughout the production process.
What You Will Bring:
- Proven experience in programming, setting, and operating sliding head machines (Star preference).
- In-depth knowledge of precision engineering and the ability to read intricate technical drawings.
- An eye for detail paired with effective problem-solving skills.
