Electronics Test Technician
Location: Witchford, near Ely, Cambridgeshire
Salary: up to £32,000 per annum
Contract: Full-time, On-Site
The Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Electronics Test Technician to join a growing research and development lab specialising in embedded computing, digital video, and AI/ML technology.
You will be working hands-on with cutting-edge embedded computer modules, peripheral cards, and systems, collaborating closely with a skilled team of Electronics and Software Engineers. This role offers a chance to play a key part in ensuring product quality, performance, and reliability in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct production batch testing of embedded computer modules, peripheral cards, and systems
- Collect and record detailed test data, reporting findings to the engineering team
- Carry out product conformance testing to required standards
- Investigate and resolve hardware-related issues
Essential Technical Skills
- Proven experience in circuit board testing
- Ability to read and interpret electronic circuit diagrams
- Competence in using digital meters and oscilloscopes
- Proficiency in soldering techniques
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
- Qualified to C&G, HND, or HNC level in electronics or related field
