Are you a qualified accountant ready to take on a role that challenges and excites you every day? We're searching for an FP&A Analyst to join a leading company in the Ely area on a permanent basis. The role:
- Identify, build, and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor business performance.
- Provide commercial insights and analysis.
- Deliver insightful and targeted operational and financial analysis.
- Dive deeply into operational and financial data to become a subject matter expert and provide added insight.
- Support company-wide projects and strategic initiatives with financial input.
- Analyse data to identify opportunities for improvement and cost reduction.
- Make recommendations to enhance operational and financial performance.
- Drive process optimisation through automation and continuous improvement to improve accuracy, efficiency, and effectiveness.
- Present insights into key financial drivers in monthly reporting decks for SLT.
- Regularly update and refine financial models to reflect changes in business activity and performance.
- Manage system upgrades and maintain impeccable data accuracy.
- Oversee month-end processes and collaborate with teams to ensure timely and high-quality outputs.
Requirements:
- Qualified Accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA, or equivalent).
- Experience in financial planning & analysis, commercial finance or business partnering.
- Advanced Excel.
- Able to translate data into actionable insights.
- Strong presentation skills and comfort in dealing with senior management.
- Exceptional analytical and numerical skills with a flair for detailed reporting.
