Job Opportunity: Supply Teacher - Ely and Surrounding Areas
We are seeking a qualified, passionate, and reliable Supply Teacher to join our team working with schools in Ely and the surrounding areas. As a supply teacher, you will be responsible for providing day-to-day cover for schools when regular teachers are absent.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging lessons in line with the curriculum
- Maintain classroom discipline and ensure students stay on task
- Follow school policies and procedures, particularly those related to safeguarding
- Communicate effectively with staff, students, and parents
- Adapt to different classroom environments and teaching methods
Qualifications & Requirements:
- A teaching qualification such as QTS or PGCE
- Previous experience as a supply teacher or classroom experience
- Excellent communication skills with both staff and students
- Flexible, reliable, and calm under pressure
- Strong organisational skills
- A clear understanding of safeguarding policies
