Job Title:Quality Manager

Location:Ely, Cambridgeshire

Shift:Days(Monday-Friday)

Salary: Up to £50,000 per annum

Company Overview:

An national provider of construction solutions for a range of industries including Architectural, Agricultural and Building Products, this position has become available to ongoing business and contract growth.

Quality manager role and responsibilities:

  • Monitor concrete testing at factories to ensure compliance with national standards and specifications.
  • Maintain and update approved concrete mix designs in coordination with the Technical Team.
  • Ensure all Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) are up-to-date and relevant to manufactured products.
  • Identify, report, and manage non-conformances effectively.
  • Prepare clear and concise technical and management reports.
  • Support product and material trials, including innovation initiatives.
  • Communicate regularly with Technical and Quality Teams to ensure alignment.
  • Promote and ensure compliance with company policies, including health and safety.
  • Stay current with industry standards and apply new knowledge to improve practices.
  • Undertake additional tasks as requested by Senior Management.

Previous Experience:

  • Experience in architectural and structural precast concrete manufacturing.
  • Strong technical knowledge of concrete technology and statistical analysis.
  • Excellent numerical, measurement, and cross-referencing skills.
  • Methodical problem-solving and attention to detail.
  • Strong time management with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, interacting at all levels.
  • Highly motivated, self-driven, and able to work independently within a team.
  • Excellent planning, organisational, and multitasking abilities.
