HGV Technician - Ely

Rotating Shift:

Monday to Friday - 0600hrs to 1400hrs/1400hrs to 2200hrs

Saturday overtime available 0700hrs to 1300hrs @ time and a half

Requirements

We are looking for NVQ level 3 qualified (or similar) HGV Mechanics to join our excellent team of specialists. You would have completed an apprenticeship in the HGV industry, or have similar experience and will also have experience in the commercial vehicle industry.

Duties

Carrying out repairs to a high standard according to procedures, safely and responsibly.

  • Assist in the fault diagnosis process.
  • Service Customer Vehicles and complete service sheets.
  • Road test vehicles when required (if you hold an HGV license).
  • Assist with roadside breakdowns.
  • Process all relevant paperwork relating to jobs accurately.
  • Ensure all vehicle defects are reported.
  • Keep all workshop facilities, equipment, and tools clean, tidy and well maintained.
  • Help us in supporting the development of trainees and apprentices.
