Welder Fabricator / Permanent /Ely- salary up to 37,440 per annum.
Position 1 Recruitmentis seeking an experiencedWelder Fabricatorto join a well-established and expanding precision engineering firm based in Ely. This company is known for its high standards in manufacturing, supplying quality components and assemblies to industries such as medical, aerospace, and high-tech sectors.

TheWelder Fabricatorwill work Accurately TIG weld stainless, mild steel, zintec and aluminium to a very high standard using a foot pedal. Typical material thickness is 1mm to 3mm.
Key Responsibilities:
Weld box section frames and assemblies to a high standard, working within tight tolerances.
Dress and finish welded components to a high standard using hand tools, including electric angle grinders and pneumatic orbital sanders.
Ensure all parts meet the specifications outlined in engineering drawings and work instructions.
Complete all assigned tasks within the allocated timeframes.
Support the development of new products in line with customer requirements, including fabricating jigs and fixtures where necessary.
Carry out general sheet metal work and finishing tasks to support the wider fabrication department.
The successfulWelder Fabricatorwill have proven experience infabricationandwelding, including proficiency in TIG techniques. The role requires the ability to work independently and collaboratively under supervision. Applicants must provide their own hand tools; additional tools will be provided as necessary.
