Following the award of new long-term programmes and continued business expansion, a leading manufacturer of precision components serving the aerospace, defence, and energy sectors is seeking to appoint a Quality Inspector to join their team.

The Role

Inspect high precision components in line with specification.

Interpret engineering drawings to ensure components meet the highest quality standards.
Supporting other manufacturing areas when required
Maintaining high levels of attention to detail and a proactive approach to continuous improvement.
Sign off batch cards detailing components are in line with specification and meet customer requirements.

Raise any conformance issues and any relevant paperwork in line with Company procedure.

Complete conventional and CMM inspection work as an independent over check for

The Person

Proven NDT experience.

A good understanding of engineering drawings and method specifications.

Ability to use conventional inspection equipment.

A sound understanding of inspection techniques (on a variety of products) and proven engineering experience.

Experience of inspecting to tight tolerances in a precision engineering environment.

Willing to work on a three-shift pattern.

Ability to produce quality work whilst working under pressure
