About the Role

Enfield Council is seeking a Business Operations Team Manager to join the Children's Services Business Operations Team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced team manager to lead a busy administrative team supporting a wide range of services that improve outcomes for children and families.

You will play a vital role in the smooth day-to-day operation of business support functions, ensuring effective resource allocation and maintaining high service standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of up to 9 business support officers

  • Oversee daily operations and ensure timely delivery of administrative tasks

  • Develop, implement, and improve business processes

  • Monitor workloads and deploy resources efficiently across service areas

  • Provide hands-on support during peak periods to ensure service continuity

  • Deliver training, coaching, and performance management

  • Collaborate with management and service leads to support strategic and operational goals

  • Coordinate ad hoc tasks and support initiatives led by the Heads of Service
