Salary/Benefits: 25k - 42k + Training & Benefits
Due to continued company growth, our client is seeking a qualified and experienced Asbestos Surveyor to cover contracts in the South East of England. You will be joining a privately owned and respected Asbestos consultancy, who have a stronghold across the region. The company are medium-sized, with a busy portfolio and plans for growth. They are able to offer good routes into analytical training and beyond. Salaries on offer are competitive and benefits include: overtime, pension scheme, company vehicle and annual leave.
You will be travelling across: Enfield, Cheshunt, Epping, Harlow, Sawbridgeworth, Bishop's Stortford, Chelmsford, Billericay, Saffron Walden, Hitchin, Knebworth, Luton, Harpenden, St Albans, Leighton Buzzard, Potters Bar, Watford, Harrow, Wembley, Bletchley, Biggleswade, Royston, Aylesbury, Basildon, Milton Keynes, Bedford, Cambridge.
Experience / Qualifications:
- Must hold the BOHS P402 or RSPH equivalent
- Good track record working as an Asbestos Surveyor, within a UKAS accredited company
- Working knowledge of HSG 264 guidelines
- Able to work across a range of commercial, domestic and local authority client sites
- IT literate
- Hardworking attitude
The Role:
- Conducting management, refurbishment and demolition asbestos surveys
- Undertaking re-inspection surveys
- Collecting ACM samples from site and delivering to the laboratory
- Producing detailed survey reports to highlight areas of concern
- Providing thorough technical advice to clients, ensuring to answer any queries
- Working to agreed personal performance targets
- Representing the company in a professional manner
