An excellent opportunity for a motivated Health & Safety Officer to join a growing, forward-thinking electrical contractor. You'll play a key role in maintaining and improving safety standards across multiple sites, supporting a dynamic team delivering projects throughout London and surrounding areas. This specialist contractor will offer you full support, training and recognise you for your efforts.

Our client has been consistently growing, winning large contracts and is firmly established within the UK housing and local authority sector. Their level of service and low staff turnover has allowed them to rapidly grow whilst retaining a great company culture and client base. Heavily focused on service, this would be ideal for a confident and proactive health & safety officer who is keen to take ownership of their role while working closely with site teams and management.

Your Role as Health & Safety Officer will include:

* Managing and monitoring health and safety standards across construction and M&E project sites
*Carrying out site inspections, risk assessments, and audits, ensuring compliance with company and legal requirements
*Supporting site teams with safety planning, documentation, and ongoing training initiatives

The successful Health & Safety Officer will have:

* NEBOSH or IOSH qualification (degree-level ideal, but lower-level certifications considered with experience)
* Proven experience within the construction or electrical sector
* A proactive, hands-on approach with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* CSCS Managers card
