Job Title: Chef
Location: Enfield, EN3
Salary: 15.69 inc. holiday pay
This role will be made permanent for the right candidate after 13-15 weeks probation period
Job 1: The working hours are Monday - Friday 7.30 pm - 12.30am
Job 2: The working hours are Saturday and Sunday 7.30pm - 12.30am
Candidate MUST have a valid DBS within last 12 months
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Chef to join our team in Enfield EN3. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in cooking and as a Chef , ensuring that all food is prepared, presented, and served to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Food Preparation: Assist in the preparation of meals, including basic cooking tasks, assembling sandwiches, salads, and other menu items according to established recipes and standards.
- Cooking: Perform cooking duties as required, ensuring that food is cooked to the correct temperature, taste, and presentation standards.
- Kitchen Assistance: Support the kitchen team by assisting with food prep, maintaining kitchen cleanliness, and ensuring all cooking utensils and equipment are properly sanitized and stored.
- Cleanliness: Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen and service areas, including washing dishes, cleaning work surfaces, and disposing of waste appropriately.
- Compliance: Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including food hygiene standards, to ensure a safe environment for both staff and customers.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Previous experience as a chef or a lead cook
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with customers and colleagues.
- Ability to follow instructions and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Understanding of food hygiene and safety regulations (training will be provided if necessary).
- Good communication skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor.
- Flexibility to work different shifts, including weekends and holidays if required.
