Prospero Teaching are looking for enthusiastic Cover Supervisors to work in a variety of secondary schools across Enfield, Islington, and Southgate in North London.
This flexible supply position is suitable for those with school-based experience, recent graduates, aspiring teachers, or experienced cover supervisors. Long-term opportunities may become available depending on school needs.

Duration: Daily supply (with potential for longer-term roles)
Contract Type: Temporary
Hours: 8:30am-4:00pm (full day)
Full-time/Part-time: Flexible, depending on school needs
Minimum Rate of Pay: GBP95 per day
Responsibilities
Maintaining a positive learning environment and ensuring students stay on task.
Supervising students as they complete pre-set work left by the teacher and ensuring planned lessons are followed.
Assisting students with questions or difficulties and ensuring everyone understands the tasks.
Enforcing school policies regarding student behaviour and dealing with any issues that arise.
Recording attendance and documenting any noteworthy incidents during lessons.
Experience, Training and Qualifications Needed
Previous experience working with young people in a school setting.
Up-to-date Safeguarding training issued within the last year (desirable, but training can be provided).
To Be Eligible for This Role Through Prospero Teaching, You Must:
Hold the Right to Work in the UK.
Hold an Enhanced Child Barred List DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one).
Be able to provide two professional, child-related references.
