Are you an organised and proactive Document Controller with a background in construction We’re working with a leading contractor to find a skilled individual who can support project teams in delivering schemes to the highest standards, ensuring documentation is accurate, accessible, and fully compliant with company processes.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-paced, professional environment where your input will directly impact the success of major construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all project documentation using platforms such as Viewpoint (CDE), R Drive, Smart Waste, and Work Wallet.

  • Ensure documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and easily accessible to clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams.

  • Upload, edit, distribute, and archive technical drawings, reports, and specifications.

  • Work closely with Design Managers and Project Teams to meet key deadlines.

  • Maintain tracking documents and tender records to support pre-construction and delivery phases.

  • Act as a first point of contact on-site or in the office, ensuring a professional and welcoming presence.

  • Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence, coordinate meeting room bookings, and manage diaries for senior team members.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Previous experience in document control within a construction or engineering environment.

  • Proficiency with Viewpoint or similar CDE systems.

  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.

  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy and compliance.

  • Confident communicator with a polite and professional manner.

  • Ability to prioritise tasks, remain calm under pressure, and work independently.

  • Familiarity with internal systems such as Work Wallet, Smart Waste, and project portals (advantageous).
