Are you an inspiring and skilled Drama Teacher ready to unleash creativity and confidence in young men? We're thrilled to find a temporary, full-time teacher to join our Outstanding boys' school in Enfield, starting ASAP. This is a wonderful opportunity to shape young performers and nurture self-expression across Key Stages 3 and 4 (aged 11-16), and potentially Key Stage 5.

What you'll be doing:

  • You'll be crafting and delivering captivating Drama lessons that explore a range of theatrical techniques, texts, and performance styles, tailored for boys.
  • It's about fostering students' confidence, communication, and collaborative skills through active participation in dramatic activities.
  • You'll cultivate a stimulating and inclusive studio environment where every student feels empowered to take risks, explore their creativity, and develop their individual talents.

What we're looking for:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with a genuine specialism in Drama or a closely related subject.
  • Ideally, you'll have some experience teaching engaging and effective Drama lessons at Key Stages 3 and 4 for boys.
  • A strong understanding of dramatic theory and practice, plus that unique ability to inspire students and facilitate creative exploration.
  • Excellent communication skills, strong classroom management, and a knack for creating a positive and supportive atmosphere.
