Blueprint Recruitment are looking to speak with skilled Senior Planners who are interested in joining a leading water company in the South. As a Senior Planner, you will manage the planning and scheduling of key infrastructure projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget. You will collaborate with external contractors, suppliers, and internal teams to oversee project phases and maintain progress transparency for both internal and client stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

-Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 and other planning software.

-Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and the client team to organise construction phases.

-Prepare and present progress updates and tender plans for both internal and external stakeholders.

-Identify critical path activities, providing insights into project performance and efficiency opportunities.

-Produce cost and scheduling data, variance reports, and baseline information for performance management.

-Work with Project Managers and Quantity Surveyors to assess and manage impacts of design changes or schedule adjustments.

-Monitor resource needs for current and future workloads, producing visual data such as graphs and diagrams to illustrate status and requirements.

-Ensure all changes are captured through change control processes and maintain data integrity on P6.

Key Requirements:

-Proficiency in Primavera P6 and MS Project.

-Experience in water infrastructure projects is highly desirable.

-Strong understanding of engineering principles.

-Effective communication skills, including report writing and presentations.

-Methodical and detail-oriented approach to work.

-Excellent IT skills and knowledge of planning software.

-High attention to detail with the ability to identify efficiencies and opportunities in project delivery.

-Analytical mindset with the capability to produce meaningful insights and reports.

-Strong organisational and problem-solving skills to manage complex schedules effectively.
