The role of the Commercial Manager Architectural Glazing will involve:
Commercial Manager position dealing with various architectural glazing systems such as; facades, curtain walling, balustrades, barriers, atriums, entrances & windows
Negotiating contracts, performing risk reviews, ensuring financial aspects and impact of the contract are clear to all parties
Strategically expand, preserve or improve company procedures, standards (including ISO 9001:2015) or policies whilst adhering to regulatory guidelines
- Assist the project management team and directors in the delivery of all commercial structural glazing projects
- Responding to delays and any issues that may arise during construction phase
- Monitoring the projects and making assessments about the progress
- Working on projects in value of up to £7m
The ideal applicant will be Commercial Manager Architectural Glazing with:
Must have 10+ years working as a Commercial Manager or Senior Quantity Surveyor within the architectural glazing or facades market sector
Ideally will have experience dealing with curtain walling, glazing, facades, entrances, shop fronts, roofs, atriums, internal glass, sliding doors, balustrades & canopies
Ideally degree level educated in a Commercial Management or Quantity Surveying
Sound working knowledge of JCT & NEC contracts
IT literate (Microsoft Office)
Strong negotiation, time management, and organisation skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
