Role Overview:

As a Trainee Mortgage Broker based in the high-performing Enfield Highway branch, you will be trained and mentored by a seasoned Mortgage Sales Director. You’ll be responsible for providing regulated mortgage and protection advice to new and existing clients referred directly from the estate agency team. This dynamic and supportive environment is perfect for an ambitious individual who has already completed CeMAP 1 and is now looking to break into the industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Offer bespoke mortgage and protection advice to clients purchasing properties across the Enfield Highway area.
• Convert warm leads generated through the estate agency network.
• Advise on a wide range of products: residential mortgages, life cover, critical illness, ASU, buildings and contents insurance.
• Refer investment and pension business to the in-house qualified financial advisers.
• Maintain compliance with FCA regulations while delivering exceptional client service.
• Work collaboratively with estate agency staff to maximise business opportunities and referrals.
• Achieve and exceed sales and performance targets.

About the Enfield Highway Office:

• Properties sold range up to £800,000, with an average price of £400,000.
• On average, the branch completes on 11 properties per month.
• The office enjoys a well-established client base and a constant flow of fresh leads.
• The team is friendly, professional, and focused on driving success in the Enfield Highway region.

Candidate Requirements:

• CeMAP 1 qualified as a minimum.
• Face-to-face sales experience (estate agency, banking, insurance, retail sales, etc.)
• Full UK driving licence and own vehicle.
• Strong work ethic, ambition, and hunger for high earnings.
• Clear credit history and no regulatory bans.
• Excellent communication, relationship-building, and customer service skills.

Salary & Commission Structure:

• Basic salary: £18,000
• Financial guarantees up to £27,000 for the first 6 months
• Uncapped commission structure with no validation
• OTE in year 1: £35,000 - £50,000
• Year 2 earnings typically exceed £75,000+

Commission Breakdown:

• 27.5% of API for Life Cover
• 27.5% of the Broker Fee
• 10% of the Proc Fee
• 30% of API for Buildings and Contents
• £25 per solicitor referral
• £50 per pension/investment referral
