We are looking for an energetic and driven individual with a strong background in management reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis.Key Responsibilities:- Act as a no.2 to the Finance Director supporting the delivery and implementation of structures, systems and reporting requirements to underpin new growth opportunities and ventures.- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of three finance professionals.- Oversee the preparation and delivery of accurate and timely monthly management accounts.- Own the budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.- Conduct insightful variance and performance analysis to support commercial decision-making.- Identify and drive process improvements and efficiency initiatives across finance.- Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting standards, and relevant regulations.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business growth and financial discipline.- Support the year-end audit process and liaise with external auditors as required.Requirements:- Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).- Minimum of 2 years PQE in a finance or management accounting role.- Proven experience in monthly management reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data. - Demonstrated ability to lead and develop team members.- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.- Proficient in Excel and financial systems- A proactive mindset with a continuous improvement approach.- Ideally exposure to business partnering or strategic financial planningAGY - Vitae Financial RecruitmentWe Exist To Be Different - Membership NOT Registration
