We are currently recruiting for a Yard Person. This is a permanent position, Monday to Friday 7am to 6pm and Saturday 7am to 1pm. You get 1.5hrs per day break and 15 minute break on Saturdays. The job is 95% outside in the yard in all weather.
A valid driving licence is required for this role, as some driving is involved.
Duties Include:
- Jet wash all the lorries when they are back in the yard - daily.
- Clean all the drainage - daily.
- Washdown the Warehouse once a week.
- Move the lorries around the yard (not on a public road).
- Forklift licence is desirable but not necessary.
- Sweeping, cleaning up debris, and keeping the yard area free from hazards.
This job is outside in all seasons.
