A dedicated and inspiring Mathematics Teacher is required for a temporary full-time position at an Outstanding boys' school in Enfield, commencing as soon as possible. Responsibilities
- You will plan and deliver engaging Mathematics lessons that challenge and inspire students, catering to a range of abilities.
- The role involves expertly guiding students through mathematical concepts, from foundational principles to more complex topics, following a well-structured and rigorous curriculum.
- You will cultivate a supportive and encouraging classroom environment where students feel empowered to explore mathematical ideas, develop their reasoning, and build confidence in their abilities.
- You will assess and monitor student progress with care, providing constructive feedback that fosters their mathematical understanding and academic growth.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a specialism in Mathematics is essential.
- Experience teaching engaging and effective Mathematics lessons at Key Stages 3 and 4 is highly desirable.
- A deep and current understanding of mathematical concepts, coupled with the ability to make the subject accessible and engaging for boys, is expected.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, alongside strong classroom management and the ability to foster a positive learning culture, are vital.
