Training Instructor – Construction & Utilities
Location: Hybrid – Enfield is now the main base but there will be an office move to Hemel Hempstead later on in the year, with UK-wide travel (on occasions)

This well-established organisation within the construction sector is experiencing significant growth, with a current turnover of £160m and ambitions to reach £250m this year. To support this growth, they are expanding their training team and are looking for a Training Instructor to deliver a range of engaging, practical, and accredited training to their workforce across the UK.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Delivering a mix of accredited and in-house training courses, such as Abrasive Wheels, Manual Handling, Emergency First Aid, National Water Hygiene, and Face Fit Testing.
  • Supporting onboarding and induction programmes for both new employees and subcontractors.
  • Assessing learners to build their confidence and competence on-site.
  • Ensuring high standards of compliance and quality assurance across all training activity.

What You'll Bring:

  • A background in construction or utilities – either already working as a trainer or from a hands-on role (e.g., Ganger, Supervisor) and ready to transition into training.
  • Confident delivery skills – both practical and classroom-based.
  • Strong organisational, communication, and IT skills.
  • Training or assessor qualifications are ideal (but if you don't have them yet, support will be provided to help you achieve them).
