Site Surveyor

A leading property services and maintenance contractor has an exciting opportunity for a Site Surveyor to join their Reactive Maintenance Division.

This role offers an excellent opportunity to take ownership of commercial delivery across a portfolio of reactive and planned maintenance projects, supporting operational teams to ensure projects run efficiently, profitably, and in line with client expectations.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit monthly Cost Value Reconciliations (CVRs) and progress reports.
• Support the delivery of tender and profit strategies, helping to achieve commercial targets.
• Manage cost control, cash flow, and value recovery across multiple projects.
• Oversee subcontractor procurement, valuations, and contractual administration.
• Work closely with the Commercial Manager on final accounts and financial reporting.
• Promote best practice in health & safety, commercial governance, and contract compliance.
• Build strong working relationships with clients, internal project teams, and supply-chain partners.

About You

• Proven experience as a Site Surveyor or Quantity Surveyor, ideally within maintenance, social housing, or construction.
• Strong commercial awareness with the ability to manage budgets, tenders, forecasts, and CVRs.
• A proactive, organised approach to managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication skills with a collaborative and client-focused mindset.
• Good working knowledge of financial systems, Excel, and commercial reporting tools.

Desirable:

• Degree or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying / Commercial Management.
• Experience working under JCT or NEC contracts.
• Progress towards RICS / CIOB membership.
