About the Role
Hill McGlynn is working with a reputable construction company seeking an experienced Senior Site Manager / Project Manager to lead projects in and around Enfield. This role offers the opportunity to manage a variety of projects, with a focus on delivering quality work on time and within budget. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in tendering for small projects and managing them from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities
- Leading and managing construction projects, ensuring timely and quality delivery.
- Tendering and securing small projects, including preparing and reviewing bids.
- Planning and coordinating site activities, resources, and subcontractors.
- Ensuring health & safety standards are maintained across sites.
- Managing project budgets, schedules, and client relationships.
- Overseeing procurement, quality control, and project documentation.
- Mentoring site teams and liaising with clients, consultants, and suppliers.
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
- Proven experience as a Senior Site Manager or Project Manager, particularly with small-scale projects.
- Strong tendering experience for small jobs, including preparing bids and negotiations.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Good understanding of construction processes, health & safety, and quality standards.
- Relevant qualifications in Construction, Site Management, or a related field.
