In conjunction with the Fleet Engineering Manager and workshop supervisor, provide essential front office support to provide high quality fleet repairs for the Councils and customer vehicle fleets and equipment.

Providing exceptional customer service for fleet customers and stakeholders in delivering effective communication and vehicle repair solutions to meet set standards and service level agreement targets. A working mechanical knowledge of repair processes and workshop administration functions is essential along with ability to directly liaise with customers and to be the first point of contact for workshop customer and supplier's queries to the fleet department workshops. Responsible for parts invoice reconciliation and invoicing customers as required

This role will be responsible for ensuring all customer vehicle and equipment assets are recorded correctly in vehicle and equipment systems and to complete all invoicing and scheduling of equipment ensuring all customers receive timely notification service updates and of inspection, service and MOT appointments. Liaise with external service providers to ensure MOTs and booked to align with MOT / service bookings in the fleet workshop.
